After church we headed to the grounds of Skogheim...our home away from home for the next week. This retreat center is beautiful and the people here are so gracious and hard working. If you have any mental picture that we are roughing it here in South Africa well....not so much. While our eyes will no doubt be open to extreme poverty and pain, this country is beautiful and loved dearly by those who call it home.
After dropping off our luggage, we headed to lunch with Dickson, as well as Lynne and Gary from the church. We had lunch in the mall...sitting outside overlooking the Indian Ocean at a yummy seafood place called The Ocean Basket...
After lunch it was off to the ocean!! As we stood there watching the waves hit the shore under a heavenly sunset, it was impossible to deny our Creator!! He is the perfect artist :)
